Thanks for posting, Zack. I'm curious how you think about the bar for "good" ideas from candidates. Do you expect truly novel ideas, or is a well-reasoned idea sufficient for you to trust their thinking capacity even if others in the business have raised it before? The former is obviously a great signal when you get it, but I don't know if that's a reasonable expectation for me to carry. Thanks!
It doesn't have to be a novel idea, but it should be specific to the situation rather than a generalized suggestion. What I'm really looking for is the willingness to weigh in with suggestions. Most candidates never do.
